The Kurulus Osman series is based on the life of Bey Osman Ghazi, a brave young man from the historical Turkic Kayi tribe. His father is the head of Artugul Ghazi Kayigotra. Who has been struggling for survival with Mongol and Byzantine knights and masked hypocrites in the border region of Sugu for centuries. He was supported by a Sufi shaykh named Edeb’Ali.

Birth and Genealogy: Sheikh Edeb Ali is called Seyh Edebali in Turkish and he is also known as Balia. He was the Shaykhul Islam Hanafi jurist and spiritual elder of that era. He was born in 1206 He belonged to Al-Khatir, a branch of the famous Banu Tamim of Arabia At that time there was no greater Sufi in the Kayi tribe than him, so his respect was widespread not only in the Kayi tribe but in the whole of Anatolia. Edeb Ali is the Shaykh of the Ahilik dervishes. These Ahiras are the disciples of Ahi Avran, who are dervishes of the Shaykh Yusavi RA Isavi Tariqa.

Their tariqa is a branch of Tarfuriya and Shahjili tariqa. Those who were adept in self-purification as well as life skills, art and business. Osman was known to everyone as religious from the beginning of his youth He was impressed by the personality and depth of knowledge of his teacher and spiritual master Shaikh Adeeb Ali Visited him regularly and stayed at his home when necessary.It was his daily routine Shaykh Adeeb Ali-Usman was convinced by the charm of Ghazi’s personality and married his extremely beautiful daughter Rabeya Bala Hatun to him. Spiritual Founder of the Empire: After the death of Artugul Ghazi, he acted as the guardian of Usman Ghazi like a shadow Shaykh Edev Ali played a key role in shaping the personality of Usman Ghazi besides the education of Artugrul and Halima Khatun from childhood. In addition to imparting external teachings to lead the Muslim Ummah in the near future, he also imparts spiritual teachings. What is the treasure shown in the series? A wooden sword with a verse written on it. The wooden sword is a symbol of Belayat power. This niamat (sword) was deposited with him successively from his superior Pir, from Shaykh Ahmad Yasawi to Shaykh Kirmani to Shaykh Ahi Evran. Because of which Shaykh Edev “Ali keeps the deposit of his murshids.

 It is said that this sword received the blessings and spiritual power of Hazrat Khizir and Shaykh Sultan Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani. This wealth and power should be conveyed to him by making worthy disciples, by which Adal (justice) will be established in the world, Islamic power will be resurrected, and the foundation of a progressive and secure empire will be built. This is not a small matter, but a monumental responsibility that Shaykh Edeb Ali is holding and fulfilling. His way is followed by Ahi Dervishes. 

Since Artugul Bey Ibn Arabi, Shaykh Kirmani, Sadruddin Kunawi, Ahi Avran had the companions and faiz of the Shaykhs, and Sukaushli was firm and steadfast in the path of justice.
