” Osman was a devout Muslim. He knew that propagating Islam and making it universal was a sacred duty. He was a visionary and a strong political thinker. He did not establish his sultanate for the sake of becoming a sultan;

The Egyptians said: ” Osman bin Ertugrul was a man of pure faith. The only goal of his life was to uphold the word of God. He worked hard to achieve this goal with all his strength and intelligence.”These were some of the notable features of Osman I. He was endowed with such great qualities as his deep faith in Allah, his preparation for the Day of Resurrection, his love for the believers, his hatred of disbelievers and sinners, and his deep love for jihad fi sabilillah and calling for it.

That is why Osman, during his conquest of Asia Minor, asked the emirs of Rome to accept any one of the three conditions. One. Maybe they will accept Islam. Or will provide jizya. Three, or will take part in the battle. So some of them have accepted Islam.

Someone has agreed to pay jizya by accepting the second condition. And without compromising against the rest, he has connected a huge area with his kingdom by jihad and snatching. As a result of his unwavering faith in Allah and the Hereafter, Uthman’s personality was fascinating and beautiful. That is why his power never overcame his justice, his kingdom his kindness, his wealth his humility. So he deserved God’s help. God has honored him with instruments of power and victory. This was a favor from Allah to His servant Osman.

Bala Hatun, who is growing up by acquiring knowledge, fighting, and various skills in various ways, reached the battlefield from time to time.

Among historians, there is disagreement as to whether Bala Hatun was the first wife or second wife of Osman Ghazi. Historians who call Bala Hatun the second wife of Osman Ghazi rely on this great event: “One-day Osman Ghazi was sleeping with Sheikh Adeb Ali. The tree grew, and its branches spread out to the earth. ”

Osman Ghazi asked Sheikh Adeb Ali for the interpretation of this dream. Sheikh Adeb Ali said: Congratulations O Osman, you will be my daughter’s husband and your descendants will rule this world.
Historians say this was originally the second wife. And some historians say as the first wife: According to their commentary, Usman Ghazi married Bala Hatun in 1280 AD,  and Malhun Hatun in 1269 AD.
